Founders Day and Prefects’ Investiture 2016 concluded on a successful note on 21^st October. It was attended by the members of the Board of Trustees of SSLSD, guests of honour who have supported the school for the past 15 years and of course parents.

The new Board of Prefects and Student Councillors were inducted and sworn in. Top achievers at public examinations, several well-wishers, members of academic staff and support staff were felicitated during the occasion.

A special tie for members of the Board of Trustees and the prefects was launched in celebration of the 15^th anniversary.

Chief Guest Chairman Mr. Kumudu Fonseka in his address emphasized on the challenges that came their way at the initial stage of opening the school. He stated that the 15 year benchmark was not achieved overnight and that it was through the support and contribution made by the Board of Trustees, parents and well-wishers that enabled it all.
