UN Week - 2016

The UN Week was celebrated in the month of November. Several debates, speech competitions, essay and art competitions were held in order to encourage students to be more aware of the functions of the United Nations.

The students of senior school also visited classes and conducted spot debates and were amazed by the enthusiasm exhibited by many students towards discussing world issues.

Winners of the competitions were awarded certificates at the sectional assemblies.

I heard that the kids had a good time in this week and that's great. I was writing rush essay reviews with my kids so that is why my kids could not make it to this week. But, happy to see it was successful.

This type of programs will help the students to have interest and know about the world issues and the situation present in this world and life style of citizens of different countries. At this small age students learning about world issues and participating in debate is very good thing to know.
